Pinpoint Policy Institute Joins Coalition Urging Congress to Oppose the Faster Labor Contracts Act

This week, Pinpoint Policy Institute joined Advancing American Freedom and a coalition of nearly 30 conservative and free-market organizations urging members of Congress to oppose the Faster Labor Contracts Act (S. 844 / H.R. 5408).

The FLCA would impose an arbitrary 90-day deadline on collective bargaining negotiations, after which a panel of government-appointed arbitrators could impose binding labor terms on both workers and employers for two years, without a worker vote. At a time when Congress is working to reduce federal overreach and rein in the bureaucracy, the FLCA moves in the opposite direction, handing Washington officials sweeping new power over private workplace negotiations.

Pinpoint joins Americans for Prosperity, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, the National Taxpayers Union, and dozens of other allies in opposing this legislation that would undermine worker choice, harm businesses, and expand the very federal agencies the Trump Administration has sought to eliminate.
